Product Categories

Categories are very handy when it comes to managing the products in the app. Note, that you will be able to see them in the business panel only.

They are also crucial when you are embedding a whole product list on your website, as they will become your main product navigation.

How to set up Product Category:

Go to Settings.
Under Data, click Product Categories.
Click the "New" button and fill in the attributes for your product category, such as Name, Code, and Parent:

Categories will display in alphabetical order. If you wish differently, add the number at the beginning of the name.
Code will be visible in your URL.
If you want to create the first level of a category, you do not need to select the parent. If you want to create a sub-category, you have to assign it to the existing parent.

Select the Product Category you just created and assign the products, then click Save Changes.

You can also assign product to the category directly from the product level under General tab.
