How Media Is Stored in Mimeeq AI Studio

Every file you work with in Mimeeq AI Studio is automatically saved — whether you generate an image, capture a product from the configurator, upload a photo, or add reference material. Nothing is lost. You can always go back to review your history, reuse common assets, or pick up where you left off.

Media in Mimeeq AI Studio is organised into two layers: Project Media (1) and the Media Library (2). Project Media gives you a focused view of everything within a single project, while the Media Library provides a centralised, folder-based collection across all your projects.

Accessing Your Media

Project Media

When you open a project in Mimeeq AI Studio, you'll find a Project Media page in the project navigation. This page contains all media files associated with that specific project.

Project Media includes two categories of files:

Uploaded media — files you've brought into the project yourself, such as:

  • Product captures taken from the Mimeeq configurator
  • Uploaded product photos
  • Uploaded reference materials (e.g. scene reference images, material swatches)

Generated media — images produced by Mimeeq AI Studio tools within that project. Each generated file displays a badge indicating which tool created it (e.g. Scene Generator, Packshot Generator), so you can quickly identify the source of any image.

Within Project Media, you can:

  • Browse all media tied to that project in one place.
  • Upload additional files directly into the project.
  • Remove files you no longer need from the project.
  • Sort and filter your media to find what you need quickly.
  • Reuse any file as an input for further generation in another tool.

Media Library

The Media Library is your centralised hub of media from all projects. Rather than showing a flat list of every file, the Media Library organises your media into folders — one folder per project (1). You can open any project folder to browse its files (2), presented in a familiar folder-style layout. You can access the Media Library from the sidebar navigation while on the All Projects page.

The Media Library is particularly useful when you need to:

  • Find an image from a previous project without opening that project first.
  • Browse across multiple projects to locate a specific asset.
  • Review your full generation history across all products and campaigns.
  • Download or re-export any past image for use on your website, social media, or marketing materials.
