What Are Credits


Credits are the usage currency for Mimeeq AI Studio. Every generation action — whether you're creating a lifestyle scene, a studio packshot, or any other visual — costs a set number of credits. Instead of being charged directly in money for each generation, you spend credits from a shared company balance, and the cost varies depending on what you're generating.


Every Mimeeq plan includes free monthly credits so you can start generating straight away. For a full comparison of what's included in each plan, visit the Mimeeq Pricing page.



Before every generation, the exact credit cost is displayed on the Generate button, so you always know how many credits will be used before you commit.



Company-Wide Credit Balance


Your credit balance is shared across your entire company. All users within the same company draw from one common pool of credits.



You can check your current credit balance at any time — it's displayed in the bottom-left corner of the AI Studio interface, labelled Credit Balance.


When your credit balance reaches zero, you will be unable to generate any images until the balance is topped up.



How Credits Are Consumed


The number of credits used per generation depends on two factors: image quality and number of variations.

Calculating Total Cost


The total credit cost for a single generation is:

Credits per image × Number of variations = Total credits


For example, generating 2 images at 4K quality costs 60 credits per image × 2 images = 120 credits.



How to Purchase Credits


Important: Purchasing credits and managing billing are available only to assigned account admins at the customer level.


If your credit balance runs out — or you simply need more credits — you can top up directly within the Mimeeq app. There's no need to upgrade your plan or wait for a billing cycle; purchased credits are available immediately.


Steps to Top Up Your Credit Balance


  1. Open the credit balance panel. Click on the Credit Balance indicator in the bottom-left corner of the AI Studio interface.
  2. Select your currency and number of credits. Choose your preferred payment currency (1) from the available options, then select one of the preset credit pack options (2) or enter a custom number of credits (3) if the presets don't match your needs.
  3. Proceed to checkout. Click Continue to be taken to the Stripe checkout page, where you'll be asked to enter your card details to complete the purchase.
  4. Credits are added to your balance. Once payment is complete, the purchased credits are added to your company's shared credit balance and are available to all users immediately.





How to Manage Your Billing Account


Mimeeq provides a dedicated billing management area where you can keep your payment information up to date and review past transactions.


Accessing Billing Management



  1. In the left-hand navigation menu, click More.
  2. Select Manage Billing.



What You Can Do in Manage Billing

From the Manage Billing screen, you can:


  • Add or update payment methods — Add a new card or change your existing payment method so future credit purchases are processed smoothly.
  • Edit billing information — Update your company billing details such as company name, address, and VAT/tax ID for accurate invoicing.
  • View invoice history — Access a complete list of past transactions and download invoices for your records.
