# Basket Submissions & Quotes

Turn Basket submissions into sales quotes. Learn how to review submitted and abandoned baskets and add them to new or existing quotes.

Review every Basket your customers create in the Mimeeq app, then add submitted Baskets to a new or existing quote.

***

## Open the baskets list

Go to the **Business Panel** and select **Baskets** from the top navigation. You will find both submitted and unsubmitted Baskets there.

***

## Unsubmitted baskets

This list shows Baskets created by logged-in users, or by guests who left their email, that were abandoned before submission. For each one, you can see the user's name and email (if provided), the products added and the creation date.

***

## Submitted baskets

This list shows all Baskets that were successfully submitted. Click a Basket row to see its details:

* Basket ID
* Custom and system fields data
* Submission date
* Public Basket URL (which can be shared)
* List of products added to the Basket

{% hint style="success" %}
You can resize the Basket panel. Hover over its left edge, then click and drag. This makes it easier to review details on different screen sizes.
{% endhint %}

## Add a basket to a quote

From the Basket preview in the Mimeeq app, you can add the Basket to a new or existing quote.

{% hint style="warning" %}
If [pricing rules](/commerce-and-integrations/mimeeq-basket/pricing-rules.md) were applied to the Basket, you will see an extra field: **Add Additions and Discounts to Quote**. If you select **Yes**, the values are added as a fixed amount. They do not update automatically with later changes to the quote, so adjust them manually as needed.
{% endhint %}

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="New quote" %}

1. Click **Create New Quote**.
2. Enter the required information: **Quotation Name**, **Expected Close**, **Company** and **People**. The **Company** and **People** fields are pre-populated with the data the customer submitted.

3. Click **Create New Quote**. A new quotation is generated with the products added as a group labelled with the Basket ID.

{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Existing quote" %}

1. Click **Add to Existing Quote**.
2. Select the quote to add the Basket to. Use the search bar to find it, or apply filters to show only the quotes you created.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.mimeeq.com/commerce-and-integrations/mimeeq-basket/basket-submissions-and-quotes.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `build a script that syncs our docs to a CMS` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
