Mimeeq provides a variety of default fonts, and you can also add your own. Additionally, you can organize fonts into groups for easier access, such as in the Text & Engraving Widget. This article will guide you on how to upload custom fonts, create font groups, and use them in Mimeeq. ## How to Upload a Custom Font 1. Go to the Media Library. 2. Open the system folder named "Fonts". 3. Click on "Upload new files" and add your font. {% hint style="warning" %} Accepted formats: .otf, .ttf, .woff, or .woff2. Once uploaded, you can either assign the font to a Font Group or use it as a single font. If you plan to use different font styles, such as Regular, Bold, Italic, etc., we recommend uploading each font style file separately. For example, you could create a folder named "Inter" and upload Regular, Bold, Italic, Thin, and other styles there. If you upload each style separately, you will achieve a 100% expected result when adding the Engraving option to your product. However, if you upload only one style, such as Inter Regular, and then select multiple styles (like Bold, Italic, etc.) in the Engraving widget's Font Style Options, the result will be generated automatically and may not be what you want or expect, potentially leading to discrepancies. {% hint style="warning" %} If you plan to use multiple font styles, make sure you upload all of them to the Media Library. This might be useful, for example, if you want to select a Font Group at the product level to be used in the Text & Engraving Widget. This means you won't have to manually select fonts for each product; instead, you can simply use the group for this purpose. However, you can still choose to use a single font for your product if that is your goal. To add a font to a group, you will need: 1. Open Settings, go to the "Font Groups" under the Data section, and click on "New Group". 2. Assign a unique and descriptive name to your group. 3. Select the fonts you wish to assign from the list, which includes both Default and Custom fonts uploaded in the Media Library. By default, "Single Font" is chosen, which lets you select one font (either a default or a custom one) to use for this product. After selecting "Font Group", you'll see a setting icon next to title. Choose the embedded template where you want to apply changes, then scroll to the PDF Settings section. There, you will see a dropdown menu where you can pick the font you want to use.
